Overheated? Want to burst out of your skin and scream?
This was me a few summers ago. I was wilting in the heat. I'd get extremely fatigued; heat rashes would appear on my skin and I was feeling all out of sorts. I consulted my Ayurvedic Practitioner, and today I'm going to share with you one of the fastest and most refreshing ways to cool yourself down this summer!
By the way, now, I am cool as I want to be all summer long. I’ve learned how to hydrate and thrive in the heat of the summer.
Hibiscus Herbal Tea as Easy as 1, 2, 3!
2. HEAT and STEEP: Heat water to nearly boiling. Steep a handful of hibiscus flowers in a large glass container- like a jumbo Mason Jar. Steep for 3-5 minutes and then strain the flowers out pouring through a sieve or spooning them out.
3. CHILL and SERVE: Let the tea cool and then store it in the fridge for long lasting refreshment.
Best Ways To Hydrate:
ON-THE-GO: If you're on the go, fill up your water bottle with hibiscus tea.
ENTERTAINING: Serve the potent magenta magic of hibiscus tea to your guests to cool them and slow them down.
Hibiscus Tea is an astringent, anti-inflammatory tonic, known for it’s cooling effects. It is also reputed for lowering blood pressure, suppressing appetite, working as a skin tonic, and stimulating hair growth.
